How does a grant-funded construction project actually run?

It runs in five stages: a documented pre-application estimate, procurement support once you're awarded, a pre-construction phase that sets up wage and reporting compliance, construction with weekly written reporting and compliance-backed pay applications, and a closeout package assembled as the work proceeds. The compliance calendar — environmental clearance, procurement, plan review, long-lead equipment — usually determines the end date more than the field work does.

  1. 01

    Pre-Application Estimate

Before you submit, you get a documented construction cost estimate with escalation and contingency stated separately — a number your budget narrative can defend and your reviewer can follow.

  2. 02

    Award & Procurement Support

Once funded, we help you run a procurement that survives review: scope of work, bid documents, solicitation record and evaluation trail consistent with your written procedures and 2 CFR 200.

  3. 03

    Pre-Construction & Compliance Setup

Wage determination confirmed, certified payroll workflow established, submittal and environmental clearances tracked, and a schedule mapped against your period of performance.

  4. 04

    Construction With Reporting

One point of contact, weekly written progress reporting formatted for your funder, and pay applications that arrive with their compliance backup already attached.

  5. 05

    Audit-Ready Closeout

Punch list closed on a stated date, then a closeout package: as-builts, warranties, certified payroll set, change order history, lien waivers and final inspection sign-offs in one indexed file.
